Terms and Policies

Auto-Pay Policy

You authorize regularly scheduled charges to your checking/savings account or credit card.  You will be charged the amount indicated below each billing period.  A receipt for each payment will be emailed to you and the charge will appear on your bank statement as an “ACH Debit.”  You agree that no prior-notification will be provided unless the date or amount changes, in which case you will receive notice from us at least 10 days prior to the payment being collected.

I understand that this authorization will remain in effect until I cancel it in writing, and I agree to notify Star Factory in writing of any changes in my account information or termination of this authorization at least 30 days prior to the next billing date. If the above noted payment dates fall on a weekend or holiday, I understand that the payments may be executed on the next business day. For ACH debits to my checking/savings account, I understand that because these are electronic transactions, these funds may be withdrawn from my account as soon as the above noted periodic transaction dates. In the case of an ACH Transaction being rejected for Non Sufficient Funds (NSF) I understand that Star Factory may at its discretion attempt to process the charge again within 30 days, and agree to an additional $10 charge for each attempt returned NSF which will be initiated as a separate transaction from the authorized recurring payment. I acknowledge that the origination of ACH transactions to my account must comply with the provisions of U.S. law.  I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card/bank account and will not dispute these scheduled transactions with my bank or credit card company; so long as the transactions correspond to the terms indicated in this authorization form.

STUDIO POLICIES & PROCEDURES

WHAT TO BRING

  • Room temperature water is required in all vocal classes. You can also purchase them from us for one dollar. 

  • It is strongly encouraged to audio record your classes to help retain the training for your at home training regimen.

PRIVATE CLASS POLICY

  • Same day cancellations or reschedule requests are not allowed, and will result in the loss of your scheduled session for that day.

  • If you no-call-no-show for your private or group class, you will lose that class and won't be able to reschedule. If no one shows up for any class or session after 15 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel class.

GROUP CLASS POLICY

  • All group class clients are allowed to miss and makeup one class per month, as long as they give 4hrs advanced notice.

  • If you’re the only one to show for group class, we treat the class as a ​30 min private lesson.

  • The 4th class of each month is normally reserved for Song Day. 

  • If no one shows up for any class or session after 15 minutes, we reserve the right to cancel class.

PAYMENTS

  • All payments must be made via our website. 

  • No refunds are given after you attend the first session of your pay cycle.

SCHEDULING

  • In the event that your class falls on a holiday, we will reschedule the class ahead of time.

STUDIO

  • Studio sessions start and end at the time booked, whether the client is there or not.

  • All first timers must pre-pay for their studio session via our website.

  • Each studio session can be accompanied by one guest who is not a contributor towards the recording session. 

  • A maximum of 4 contributors per session is allowed.

  • All music need for studio sessions must be emailed in mp3 format in advanced to mp3.starfactory@gmail.com. If bigger files like wavs are desired by client, please send via WeTransfer to mp3.starfactory@gmail.com. Clients can also bring files on flash drives or hard drives the day of their session. 

  • If you desire the session files from your session, please reserve 5-10 minutes at the end of your session to do so. If you request these files after your session, a fee of $25 must be paid to retrieve your files.

  • Music cannot be brought via CD, nor can we deliver copies of your songs or files via CD.

  • Each session comes with free vocal production and a free quick mix.  

  • If you’d like a Full Mix and/or Master of your session, please understand that that is a separate fee. We quote each mix price based on complexity of the session and amount of session files. 

NOT ALLOWED

  • Parents or artist managers are not allowed to disrupt a class/session in progress. Parents are requested to remain in lobby area. 

  • No smoking or alcohol is allowed in the building under any circumstance.

  • Gum, candy, pop, and sports drinks are not allowed in the class sessions. 

  • No cameras or video is allowed unless the instructor and everyone else in your class has given consent. 

PARENTALS

  • Clients under 18 must remain in the building while waiting to be picked up. 

  • Parents must be prompt in dropping off and picking up clients. 

MISC

  • We generally only extend performance opportunities to current clients who are  up-to-date with their payments. We reserve the right to refuse registration to any new client who we deem may not be a great fit for our studio and classes.

  • Please keep all necessary conversation to a minimum during classes. 

  • Please clean up after yourself in the lobby areas and restrooms.  

  • Water bottles are allowed in class; however they will be discarded if left behind.  Water breaks will be given at the discretion of the teacher. 

  • Artists are expected to perform full out with expression and energy. They are expected to put their best forward at all times. Anything less will not be tolerated. 

WAIVER

  • By registering as a client of Star Factory Artist Development, you give consent to said studio to take photographs, motion pictures, voice recordings, or video tapes of said student, and do further consent to the publication, circulation and promotion of said photographs, motion pictures, voice recordings, or video tapes for any duplication, website use, or social media posts for any ethical purposes it deems proper. In granting such permission (I), (We) hereby relinquish to Star Factory Artist Development and Thee Ultimate Artist Development Pack all rights, titles, and Interest that (I) (We) may have concerning the finished pictures and/or images, negatives, reproductions, or copies, and further waive any and all rights to approve the use of such photographs, voice recordings, motion pictures, or video tapes, and further do waive any right to compensation for the publication or other use of said photographs, voice recordings, motion pictures or video tapes. As such, Star Factory Artist Development and its agents, licensees, and representatives are released from liability and any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising from their use.

  • Star Factory Artist Development is not to be held responsible or liable for any accident that may occur while your child is in his/her development class or on our premises as the talent. Moreover, each child should be covered by medical/accident insurance as the studio will not provide this protection in the event of an accident.
