Safety and Insurance
While in our program, every precaution is taken to assure your child has a safe and fun experience. If an accident occurs while your child is in our camp, please note that Star Factory Artist Development does not furnish accident insurance. All medical bills are the responsibility of the child’s parent or guardian.
Discipline Policy
It is our goal to provide a healthy, safe, and secure environment for all camp children. Children who attend the program are expected to follow the behavior guidelines and to interact appropriately in a group setting. Ground rules are built around respect for self, others, and Star Factory Artist Development property. “Time Out” is a method often effective in discouraging inappropriate behavior. If behavior continues, a conference will be requested with the parents. At this time the camp director, parents, and camper will work together to determine the appropriate actions. This may include signing a behavior management contract. If the inappropriate behavior persists, Star Factory Artist Development reserves the right to suspend the child from the program.
Removal from Program
Star Factory Artist Development reserves the right to remove a child from our camp for any of the following reasons:
Failure of parent or guardian to pay monthly fees as outlined in the manual.
The child’s needs are not being met in our small or large group settings.
The child is a safety threat to himself/ herself, other children, or our staff. This includes behavior such as fighting, striking others, biting, and wandering away from the program.
Using profanity, vulgarity, or obscenities.
Acting in a lewd manner.
Possession of and/ or using tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, fireworks, firearms, or explosives.
Points to Remember:
Please come into the building to pick up your child for safety purposes. Also, we cannot deliver important information or messages to you through your child.
Any parent or guardian that has not picked up there child before 3:15pm, will incur a latch key fee of $10 for every 15 minute increment after 3:15p.
